Andi Oliver hosts this very special Gala Night in which we celebrate voices of women over 40, who represent more than a quarter of the population. Women don’t just tell stories for other women – they speak to all of us about our lives, our communities and ourselves.
Women Speak Volumes is a UK-wide project that has been providing workshops and inspiration to women who have never told their stories before, sharing their rich experiences. Andi is joined in the first half by Sandra Pollock and Jacqueline Crooks who ran some of the inspiring workshops, and in the second half by Catherine Taylor (The Stirrings) and poet Hannah Lowe (The Kids, Chan) whose own stories articulate our shared experience.
