Between 1994 and 1997, loaded magazine became the must-buy and must-be-in publication of the decade. What MTV had been to the 80s, loaded was to the 90s, capturing a hedonistic lifestyle of clubs, booze and drugs. But for James, loaded's unexpected success legitimised (and paid for) his lifestyle, and it wasn't until he crashed and burned at GQ and he went through rehab, that any sense of perspective kicked in. He reflects on his own journey through the 90s then, in the second half, chats to former loaded columnist Irvine Welsh about the bold, brash, buoyant decade that changed the world forever.
The event is followed by a party / 90s disco. Bar til 1am.
