The A10 is Stoke Newington’s High Street but runs from Monument in the City to the ancient Hanseatic port of King’s Lynn, using the old routes of the Roman Ermine Street and the Old North Road to travel up through Hoxton, Shoreditch, Dalston, Stamford Hill, Tottenham, Enfield, Royston and Cambridge, through fenland to Downham Market and finally King’s Lynn. The festival will be on the 6th day of a project that sends writers and artists up the road, in a modern version of The Canterbury Tales. Come along and find out more about the road and get involved in a truly fascinating project.
