A Class Act

Working class voices are increasingly absent from publishing and the media. Two books this year highlight the issues faced by working class writers, nearly always denied the access and opportunities of their middle class peers. Kerry Hudson's Lowborn; Natasha Carthew's All Rivers Run Free; Common People contributor Anita Sethi and Pete Brown (Pie Fidelity) explore some of these issues that urgently need tackling if we are to see a broader range of voices represented.
